Privacy Policy

Information collected

None in the app. wibbli does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal information, and it does not collect them in the background. There is no app server for anything to be sent to.

Your drawings and iCloud

Everything you make in wibbli — your projects, their frames, and any background image you add — is saved on your device and synced through iCloud, so the same work is there when you open the app on another device signed in to the same Apple Account.

That sync uses your private iCloud database. The data sits in your own iCloud storage under your Apple Account, it counts against your iCloud storage, and it is handled by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy. We have no access to it: we cannot read, copy, or recover your drawings, and we receive no copy of them.

Sync follows your device’s settings. If you are not signed in to iCloud, or you turn iCloud off for wibbli, your work simply stays on the device.

Deleting the app removes the copy on that device. It does not remove the copy in iCloud — that one stays until you delete wibbli’s data from your iCloud storage in Settings, and until you do, reinstalling the app brings your projects back.

Photos

You can set a photo as the background of a project, and you can save a finished animation to your photo library. Both go through the standard iOS picker and share sheet: wibbli receives only the single image you pick, and can only add what you choose to save. It cannot browse or read your photo library.

Sharing

Exporting an animation, sending one in Messages, or sharing a project file is always something you start. What happens to it afterwards depends on where you send it — that destination’s own privacy policy applies, not this one. wibbli shares nothing on its own.

Purchases

wibbli offers a one-time in-app purchase that unlocks the paid features, and it supports Family Sharing. The purchase is handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details — the app only learns from Apple whether this Apple Account owns the purchase, and stores that yes-or-no answer on your device so it works offline.

Third parties

wibbli contains no third-party SDKs. There is no analytics provider, no crash reporting service, no advertising network, and no attribution service. Apart from iCloud sync and the App Store, the app makes no network connections at all.

Tracking

wibbli does not track you across apps or websites, and does not request permission to do so.

Apple

wibbli is distributed through the App Store, and uses Apple’s iCloud and in-app purchase services. Apple may collect information about downloads, purchases, and — if you have opted in on your device — crash and usage diagnostics. That data goes to Apple, not to us, and is governed by Apple’s privacy policy rather than this one.

Children

wibbli is safe for all ages. It collects no personal information from anyone, children included, and there is nothing in it that puts a child in contact with other people.

Changes to this policy

If wibbli ever begins collecting data, this policy will be updated before that version ships, and the date at the top of this page will change.
